Amazon Prime Big Deal Days is here! It runs October 7–8, 2025. As usual, Amazon is promising millions of deals… and they are out there, but check to make sure they’re actually deals.
You can use Rufus, Amazon’s AI shopping assistant, to check for price history. When you’re on a product page, look for the Rufus chatbot and ask for “price history.” You’ll get a nice 30 or 90-day chart to help see if a product is a deal.
You can also copy and paste any Amazon product URL into CamelCamelCamel for a quick comparison.
Finally, don’t forget to stack ShopBack’s 15% cash back on top of whatever you buy - that’s a limited-time offer and more generous than what they typically give you.
My other tips:
Be sure to check your Amazon “Buy Again” page for discounts on the stuff you already purchase regularly.
And, while I don’t typically recommend just “browsing” for deals, if you want to see current offers, you can go to Amazon’s Today’s Deals page.
If you’re looking for gift inspiration, Amazon’s Top 100 lists are a great place to start. They feature curated picks across categories like gifts for him, her, kids, teens, and even stocking stuffers. Pro tip: sort by bestsellers or most purchased so you’re not just seeing featured picks.
Before we get to my curated product picks below, just remember you need to be a Prime member to take advantage of the deals. You can sign up for 30 days free here.

If you’re eyeing the latest AirPods 4, they’re $89, matching their Prime Day price from July. A solid deal for Apple’s newest entry-level earbuds.
The 11-inch iPad is back down to $279, matching its July Prime Day price. It normally sells for $350 at Apple, so you’re saving $70 on one of the best all-around tablets for everyday use.
If you want big sound in a tiny package, the JBL GO 3 is a great pick. It’s waterproof, easy to toss in a bag, and right now it’s just $25 — an excellent value for a speaker this size.
The Apple Watch Series 10 came out last year, but it still packs nearly all the same features as the new Series 11 — the biggest difference is slightly shorter battery life and LTE instead of 5G if you choose the cellular version. At $279, it’s a strong deal if you want a premium Apple Watch without paying top dollar.
I still think the iPad is the best tablet out there, but if you’d rather skip Apple, Google’s Pixel Tablet is an excellent alternative. It’s fast, clean, and versatile, and it’s now at its lowest price since July’s Prime Day — $309.
The Twelve South AirFly is a must-have for frequent flyers who want to use their own Bluetooth headphones with an airplane’s seatback entertainment system. It’s available in several versions—look for the one that fits your needs.

The MacBook Air (M4) is one of the best laptop deals right now — just $800 for Apple’s latest model. It’s fast, lightweight, and powerful enough for everyday tasks. With proper care, you can easily expect it to last 8 years easily.
Google’s Pixel 9 from last year is a steal at $550. You still get one of the best smartphone cameras around, plus 7 years of software updates. It doesn’t include the magnetic charging ring like newer models, but you can easily add that with the Spigen Ultra Hybrid case for about $20 — and let’s be honest, you’re putting a case on it anyway.
Bose QuietComfort headphones remain the gold standard for long flights and noisy environments. They’re currently $200 (previous sales were around $230) — a fantastic deal for some of the best noise cancellation you can buy.

I love my little Echo Spot. It sits on my desk with a bright little display, perfect for checking the time or weather at a glance. I just added Alexa Plus, which makes it even more useful. At $45, this is about as low as it ever goes—an easy pick for a bedside or desk clock with smarts.

Nothing makes some of my favorite earbuds under $50. These have noise cancellation, a sleek design, and a secure, comfortable fit — plus, they sound great for the price. The average selling price is around $73, so at $47, this is a steal.
The Beats Pill speaker sounds great, is water-resistant, and has excellent battery life — perfect for travel or outdoor use. At $80, it’s the lowest price yet, about $20 less than usual.

The Belkin 3-in-1 MagSafe charger hasn’t gone on sale yet, but it’s worth keeping an eye on. It’s brand new, priced at $130, and supports the latest wireless charging standards. It’ll charge the iPhone 17 at the fastest possible wireless speed, along with your Apple Watch and AirPods.
The HP Film Scan digital film and slide scanner is a brand-new release — and it’s the first time it’s ever gone on sale. It’s normally $230, but right now it’s down to $184. Great for digitizing old negatives and slides with sharp detail and easy setup.
If you like to run, as I do, these Shokz OpenRun headphones are a great pick. They use bone conduction technology, which means you can still hear the world around you — perfect for outdoor runs or workouts. The lowest previous price was $140, and right now they’re on sale for $125.
The Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 4 is an excellent portable Bluetooth speaker. It’s small, sounds great, and is both waterproof and floatable — perfect for the pool and beach. At $67, this is the lowest price I’ve ever seen for it.

I know it sounds silly, but I love this all-in-one power cord from Twelve South. It’s basically your plug and USB cable in one — nothing to lose, nothing to tangle, and perfect for travel or kids. They also make a super long 10-foot version if you need extra reach.

I don’t know if you got my last text, but I was just saying I have no idea how to know if my app is up-to-date and I also don’t know how to force restart. So I can’t seem to find Rufus.
