What is wireless home internet and why it might save you money
Major carriers like T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T are using their 5G networks to deliver home internet starting around $35 a month with no technician visit required. It’s not perfect for everyone, but for many households it could be faster and cheaper than traditional cable.

Run a speed test on your phone’s cellular connection. That will give you a good idea of what your home internet speeds will be.
Check your address to see if service is available in your area.
Move the receiver around your house, especially near windows, to find the best signal.
Don’t cancel your current internet service until the new connection is up and running and you’re happy with the performance.
Take advantage of the 14 to 30 day trial periods most companies offer. If it doesn’t work out, you can return it hassle free.
If you do heavy uploading or online gaming, wireless home internet may not be the best fit. It was built primarily for download speeds.
