Get ready! Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days are happening this week on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 8 and 9, 2024.
As usual, Amazon promises Prime members will have access to millions of discounts across various categories. Here are my tips to help you make the most of this shopping “holiday.”

1. Prepare in advance:
- Make a list of holiday gifts
- Review your previous purchase history for items you might want to buy again or restock
- Check your cart and saved items for any price drops
2. Add items you want to your cart to track price drops
3. Watch for early deals in the days leading up to Prime Day
4. Check frequently, as new deals launch every few minutes
5. Look for these special RED Prime Day banners near item prices to identify deals
6. Use CamelCamelCamel to check price history:
- Copy the item's URL and paste it into the website
- Compare the current price to the "lowest ever" price
- Buy if the current price is lower
By following these tips, you can make the most of Amazon Prime Day and avoid unnecessary spending.
As always, Amazon’s brands will be deeply discounted. This includes Ring, Kindle, Fire TV, Echo and Eero.
I will continue to update this post with some of the best deals I find and my personal picks, so bookmark and check back.
