Apple Intelligence is here: How to get it on your iPhone

Apple Intelligence is a new AI feature for iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 models (with iOS 18.1) that lets you rewrite text, summarize emails, clean up photos, and use an improved Siri - all built into your device's existing apps. The system comes with colorful animations and privacy protections, aiming to make AI features intuitive and easy to use without needing third-party apps.

How to get it:

Check your phone model: Settings > General > About

You’ll need an iPhone 15 Pro, Pro Max or any iPhone 16 to get it

Update your iPhone to iOS 18.1

Settings > General > Software Update

Then, activate Apple Intelligence:

Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri > Apple Intelligence (toggle switch on)

It might take up to a few hours to get access; your phone will send a notification when it’s ready.
